Institutional Capacity Building
There is a need for GSF to enhance its governance and management structures in order to establish clear reporting lines and accountability within the organization. This will be established through the creation of a new organizational structure that clearly defines the roles and responsibilities as well as the updating of a human resource policy and procedures manual. In order for GSF to understand the work it is doing clearly with any collaborating organisation, a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will be created and signed by each partner organization in order to create strong institutional management techniques.
GSF need to collaborate with development and humanitarian partners at the local, national and international levels in order to be trained in human resources management, financial management, resource mobilization, project management and proposal writing. Training and information will be disseminated to GSF team in order to enhance capacity and create sustainability of the organisation.
