At GSF are committed to preventing and addressing sexual abuse and exploitation in all of our operations. We believe that every person has the right to live free from sexual abuse and exploitation, and we are committed to ensuring that this right is upheld in all of our activities.
We take proactive steps to prevent sexual abuse and exploitation, including the development of robust safeguarding policies and procedures, the training of all staff and volunteers on these policies, and the implementation of effective risk management measures.
We take immediate action to protect individuals who may be at risk of sexual abuse and exploitation, including by providing appropriate support, reporting incidents to relevant authorities, and working with partners to ensure that individuals receive the protection they need.
In the event of an incident of sexual abuse or exploitation, we will respond quickly and effectively, providing appropriate support to the affected individual, investigating the incident, and taking appropriate disciplinary action against any staff or volunteers found to be responsible.
We are accountable for our actions and will ensure that those who violate our policies on sexual abuse and exploitation are held to account. This includes the implementation of robust internal controls, regular monitoring and evaluation of our safeguarding policies and procedures, and the independent review of any incidents of sexual abuse or exploitation.
We recognize that the prevention of sexual abuse and exploitation is an ongoing process, and we are committed to continuously improving our safeguarding policies and procedures. This includes regularly reviewing and updating our policies and procedures, providing regular training for our staff and volunteers, and working with partners to share best practices and promote effective safeguarding measures.
